Programs to meet your goals:
Not only are we home to MerleFest, a world-renowned music festival that serves as a major fundraiser for WCC, we’re also home to one of the nation’s most popular schools for animal/livestock husbandry and production — and many other programs, too. -
Support for your success:
Through our Academic Support Center, you can receive a range of support, from writing and math assistance to tutoring on a variety of subjects. You can also get the help you need to develop your study skills and test-taking techniques. -
2+2 agreements:
Complete your associate degree at WCC and then transfer into a specific program at one of our partner four-year institutions for your bachelor’s degree. We have 2+2 agreements for graduates in programs from accounting and finance to baking and pastry arts.

You could be eligible for free tuition for two years! -
WCC Foundation Scholarships:
Thanks to the generosity of private donors, the WCC Foundation awards numerous scholarships each year. -
Finish Line Grants:
In an emergency, you can get up to $1,000 to finish your studies. -
Doc Watson Student Emergency Fund:
If you encounter hardships, this fund, established through MerleFest, may help keep you in school.
